Imperfection.

First of all,HAPPY NEW YEAR..

hehe.. i know,i know.. we've already been through 2++ weeks of year 2009,but it's not too late to wish a happy new year aite?Like everyone else,ive been very very busy for these past few weeks.With classes,assignments,quizzes and other activities squeezed into my schedule,i didn't hv time to blog.

Many things hv happened to me since 2008 waved a goodbye.At this very stage of my life,i live in a normal life and very grateful with what and who i have around me.Eventhough i know there's a lot of things missing(will always be this way,economics tought me that humans hv unlimited wants ;p),i consider it as part of learning and accepting one of the things in life-IMPERFECTION.Life is not perfect,no one is perfect,even the highest standard of human perfection is not and will never be perfect.There're flaws in each and every one of us.I know we can't just stand still and do nothing coz it is our job to improve and conceal as much flaws as we can.However,is it O.K to sacrifice every bit of your life just to be 'perfect'?Sometimes people take perfection too seriously tht they don't even realize they're being hard on themselves..What's worse,some people even lose some parts of their life to just fulfill other people's expectation of being perfect.I had this kind of experience and totally understand that some people did this for my own good.Still,im just a girl and a mere mortal..i hv pimples,i wake up late and sometimes i even trip when i walk(malu).huhu.As long as i have intentions to improve myself and know my boundaries,i think it's o.k to live in my own imperfect life.Frankly,i really hate it when people smother me.Menyampah.

I had 'me time' today and yesterday.My parents and eldest bro weren't at home coz they had to attend kenduri at Penang.Considering my unpacked stuffs(going back to uia today),i decided not to go.So basically i spent these 2days packing my stuffs,catching up with my bro(he just got back from Qatar) and having fun at my very last days of hols.I woke up a bit late yesterday and to my surprise,a postman delivered some item i bought online.Didn't expect it to be delivered this fast but i was sure happy bout it. =) There's a few more stuffs but i had it shipped to uia since im starting new sem dis mon *yawn*.My classes start at 8.30am everyday*yawn again*,wish me luck on getting up early.I can't wait to see my friends!!UIA here i come..

As mentioned before,ive searched for few photoshop tutorials online and i did some experiment on my photos.Some of the pics turned out o.k and some nmpk mcm kentang putar.kehkeh.Masking is the coolest technique so far,for me.It flawlessly combines 2 or more pictures into 1.If u're wondering how would u look like if u're horse,this technique will give u the answer.Just combine ur pic with a pic of horse,maka akan dpt urself versi kuda.huhu.Can't really explain it clearly here,u hv to try it yourself.With so many things to learn,im gonna be glued to my laptop.It's a good thing actlly,xdela melopong aje time cuti ni.Nway,i teman my nephew Firdaus tgk Bob the Builder just now and couldn't stop laughing at this part :

Travis : Im sure it's right.

Spud : No,left is the right way.

Travis : How can left be right?

Sleepless night..

I couldn't sleep last,not until 5a.m *sigh*.I went downstairs to the kitchen to grab sth after hours of tossing and turning.First thing tht i had in mind - my beloved unopened packet of cream crackers.heee..then came a cup of hot tea.With cracker on my right hand,cup on my left hand,music's on and Simba sitting next to me,i had a good night indeed.This is for me the best way to handle sleepless nights..Biscuits and crackers lighten up gloomy nights.hahahaa.I have to admit,im a sucker for these yummy treats.I can't get enough of these combinations ;p :-

Today i spent most of the times in front of my laptop and searched for some advanced tutorial for photoshop.Need to learn new techniques,im quite behind right now.I attempted a few techniques and i created new purplish heading+layout for my blog..Btw,when i was sipping tea last night,i had few things in mind to put in my new year shopping list.hehe.I'll wrote it down later,im starving right now.

Do-It-Myself

Decorating has always been my hobby-be it for food,cards or spaces.Im so into interior designing(love the mags and ive a software of a virtual ID) and love decorating my house and my room.Despite that,my room still can be a whole lot of mess,hehee.Just cant bring myself to clean up the post playing-dress-up mess.Nway,my sis is moving to a new house and asked for a help to hang wallpaper in my nephew's room.The last time i did it was 5years ago,at my house and i enjoyed it since it was a big part of home decor.Hanging wallpaper can be tedious esp the patterned ones,but it's kinda fun once u get used to it.I've already done half of my nephew's room and will continue this weekend.My sis and her hubby put a lot of effort in decorating the house,can't wait 2 see the whole result.It looks good so far and i can't wait to have my own house!!I want a house,or rather an apartment with a city view..nice..
